Scope:

The Rapid Small Scale Oxidation Test is a new method to evaluate the storage stability of Natural Oils/Fats, Food & Cosmetics and water containing products.

It offers the advantages of an automatic instrument:
Good repeatable results ... in a minum of time ... by best possible user safety!

Compared to some other oxidation and storage stability test methods, this test method uses a small sample and gives a repeatable result in a short time period.


Possible applications:

  • Vegetable oils and fats (margerine or seedoil etc.)
  • Animal oils and fats (butter, fish oil, etc.)
  • Liquid or semi-liquid foods (mayonnaise, sauce, cream etc.)
  • Solid, non-meltable foods (nuts, bacon, sausage etc.)
  • Meltable foods with high fat content (butter, cheese, lipstick etc.)
