Scope:

The test by the U-tube method shows the temperature, at which a lubricating oil will still flow under the defined conditions. There is no correlation between the pour point and the fluidity.

The fluidity is characterized under constant overpressure rate and in dependence on the temperature by the rising rate of the lubricating oil.
